Since the days I would stay with my grandmother, running through her garden, I’ve enjoyed my fingers and toes in the soil. I didn’t know to call it soil until I learned the difference between it and dirt. I now love to teach others the difference and so much more about the garden. Most people think they have no green thumb, but I can teach it. No worries of when to water, when to plant, or what to plant and when. With Laced Hen, I can do it with you or for you.
My grandmother also had chickens and I just loved working around them. I got my first Laced Hens in 2017, in my own backyard, and I’ve known ever since then, I wanted to make this my career. That is when the steps to my dreams started to take off. My first set of Laced Wyandotte hens started everything, and they are called, Zipp, Dee, Doo, Dah.
In June of 2022, I started Laced Hen Homestead and I’ve been working it full time. We had chickens, goats, and gardens. I also love to create DIY projects. Determining my steps to teach others how to raise chickens and plant gardens has been my passion. The stress of the world leaves me when I’m outside with my chickens and tending to my garden. I know the benefits and I want to share that knowledge with others. So, I have received my Gardenary Certification and rebranded my business. Installation Packages can be specifically designed for the client’s preferred outcome. In this case, to many options to be spread out and should be discussed during the consultation, coaching, or afterward. Not ready to move on that install, hit the pause button. Laced Hen can help when ready.
Maintenance
Garden Maintenance -
Billed by Time-1/2 hr-$30
1 hour-$60
1.5 hour- $90
- Pruning, composting

I’ll do all that I can within the time scheduled.
Garden Maintenance-Planting
Billed by Sq ft- generally $7 per Sq ft.
- You pick the veggies and I do the rest. Take planting your garden off your to do list.
- I create the planting plan
- you approve it, and I plant it
Complete Garden Care Club
$24 per Sq. Ft for the year
Eleven perfectly timed, all inclusive, maintenance visits for the season. This option is the best, most clients use this as a coaching session and join me in the garden. The club includes:
- planting
- composting
- also includes Spring, Summer and the fall planting.
This can be billed for the year up front, or split up into 9 monthly payments between March and November
Chicken Coop Cleaning
Small Coop - up to 6 chickens- $75
Large Coop 6 or more chickens-$150
- clean the coop; using all natural products.
- removing the chicken poop.
- cleaning the waterers and feeders
add on options;
- raking the run & removing poop $15 hour
- adding fresh sand to the run $25 hour
